Course Description

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a HRWL licence to operate this plant.

Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or a pallet truck.

A person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck High Risk Work Licence (HRWL).

This unit requires a person operating a forklift truck to:

plan for the work/task
prepare for the work/task
perform work/task
pack up

Course Fees Individual Learners (Spring Super Sale Was $495.00 Now $399.00 each) for TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck, this includes administration fees and must be paid before course commencement. All Resources, course-ware and handouts provided.

Please note: There will be a $72.00 WorkSafe licensing processing fee that is payable to WorkSafe upon successful completion of your course.  Positive Training Academy has no control over this fee, and is subject to change without notice.

Selection Criteria

Students will need to meet the Selection Criteria requirements to be eligible to enter into this course. Evidence of the student meeting the Selection Criteria will be collected as part of the Enrolment process. Must provide acceptable photo ID such as Victorian driver’s license, or any other Australian driving license, passport, Vic roads proof of age card or Key-pass card. · Willing to do Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test
